When I was a kid, I had a Sunday school teacher (in hindsight, a somewhat bizarre Sunday school teacher) who had us write down what kind of spouse we wanted in the future - in detail, down to hair color, etc. Mine came true!
In thinking about this, I started to wonder what gets credit for manifesting - is it any success that you hoped for in some amount of detail? Or do you have to have written it down and actively planned around it occurring in some way?
I believe the writing down is simply to prove to yourself that you can manifest. Once you believe you can manifest, you can skip that step.
Manifestation happens when we can clearly see what we want and see ourselves in it, then we add the energy of stepping towards that dream. We draw the dream closer to us, and it becomes our reality.

That is fantastic! What else have you manifested in life?
