Choosing a different life than the one chosen for you...

Have you ever wondered about happy people and how they got that way? Perhaps it is time to weed the garden of your mind?

Last night I had a dream fulfilled; Cranial Sacral Massage was something I had read about and never truly experienced before. There is one lady in our city who practices it but with the onset of The Great Pause, she learned to practice over distance, a fact that I did not know about until I booked with her, only to lie on the table to learn there would be no contact. This was a huge disappointment. The experience I had yesterday was all I hoped for and more from a beautiful soul named Lori Schuster who may soon be opening her doors to offer this to the world. I was fortunate enough to be her first recipient in many years and she has the most incredible, loving energy. What a treat!

I am not sure how to put the experience into words nor am I able to appropriately describe what I am feeling today; my limbs feel more open like they are threaded with the proper tension now, my mind feels clear yet floaty and available to grander concepts. My sacral feels light and open, connected to something I did not realize had been blocked or unplugged until now. I am sitting taller even while some of my muscles feel like I was worked over by a muscled, Swedish massage dude of impressive girth, rather than a lithe, goddess like woman.

While Lori held different points on my body, gently manipulating them and coaxing out the blocks between full flow and connection, memories surfaced. I shared some of the pain from the past and she spoke to me through it, returning to sender with love but not with absolution; things sent back where they originated, as that is where they need to be resolved. When pain is sent down the line, it makes no sense to the receiver, in this case me. Stories form in words without supporting truth. These seeds of anger, desperation, fear, and hopelessness take root in the fresh flesh of the child, parental planting. A child has no understanding, no defense; being a wide-open page to be written upon.

She spoke the words I, as that child, needed to hear, taking on the voices of others and speaking the words muffled in my heart. As she spoke, I was released and received the love of the Divine Mother, Sophia healing the spaces searching for love. She spoke of responsibility where it belonged, forgiveness, and love… so much love.

Return to sender.

No more sending these seeds forward, we must stop. Our children and our children’s children do not deserve this tradition of sorrow; these ancient wounds need not be inflicted upon them. We may not have been the ones who started these troubles but we can be the ones who end it.

This is not about blame or shame; it is about healing. We can choose to sort through the traditions of pain, the beliefs in limitation to shed the labels of the past which identify us as “less than”. Reject the need to play small.

Life is given to us with Free Will; a blank book to write our own story. We can choose t rip out the pages of collective pasts of family methylation, burn them and start anew.

This is not easy work. It is most important; worth the effort and the best gift we can give ourselves.

Love yourself enough to believe you can be all that you want to be. No one can hold you back from dreaming your dream of a good life filled with the magical unfolding of your wishes into reality. It is not always easy but the peace is worth the effort, I promise.

Return to sender the labels you did not earn.

Return to sender the assumptions of who you are based on gender, race, family of origin… all of it!

Return to sender the traditions of who you are and how you should live your life; dreams others have dreamt for you. If they want that life, they should live it. You are here to live your own dreams.

We serve no one by playing small in life, hiding behind the limitations of those who came before us. We were born to journey further. Our ancestors should stand still so they can see how far we have come, not lash onto us, holding us back from our greatness.

Our words fall on deaf ears pounding with unhealed beats of oppression, repression, and lack of expression. We can only influence and inspire through our actions, our forward movement.

How?

We must start by learning to love and forgive ourselves. Forgive yourself for forgetting who you are and what you came here to do, be, and have in your experience.

Question the beliefs that hold you back from your dream. Whose voice is that? Who owns that belief? How did that seed of limitation get planted in your mind? What does your heart have to say about it?

Return to sender.

Can you take one step forward towards your dream and the things you want to experience? What do you dare to dream? Quiet the monsters running through the nightmares manifested by others and find your way to the light, better yet, BE THE LIGHT in your darkness.

Love yourself enough to choose peace; choose to forgive yourself for the past. That is the first step to loving yourself, putting yourself first in your own life.

I love you. You are a spark of Divine Light as am I. You came here to shine, glow, spreading your light and love onto the Earth, to plant new seeds of love on Earth; sprinkling love with every word, step, breath…
