Mother's Day and all those other Hallmark holidays...
It's not sunshine and roses for everyone
Mother’s Day is not a happy day for a good portion of the population; like many of the other concocted calendar highlights, it can come with pain to those who do not have something to celebrate.
There are many people in the world who do not have a mother to love and honour. There are those whose mothers have passed, those who never knew their mothers, and those who knew their mother, but did not know her love.
There are also those would be mothers who have lost a child or did not have the chance to fulfill their dreams of motherhood.
Today I want to take a moment to send you my love; more than that I want you to know that you ARE loved by many. There are people on the planet for whom your smile, your hug, your good-morning as you pass by mean the world to them. There are legions of those not incarnate who love you, who watch over you; they celebrate your good times and hold you in the rough patches.
You are loved.
You are needed.
Your presence matters in this world.
In Oneness,
Patricia (Patty) Meier
